Rated 5 out of 5 by Torrdancer Unusual lamp, just what I wanted! I was looking for something unusual for our newly redecorated master bedroom. My new dresser is tall so I was looking for a shorter lamp. Although this lamp is 16" tall, it is PERFECT for my needs. It gives such a wonderful lighting effect to the room....soft yet bright enough. I did put an LED light bulb in this lamp as it is the main source of light in the bedroom. The CFL bulb that comes with the lamp offered a much softer and dimmer lighting effect, which was very nice, but not bright enough for us. The lamp appears to be well made, and I really love it. At first I passed by this lamp on the website because of its price, but when I kept returning to it, I decided to just buy it! I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this lamp highly! If I needed another lamp in this room, I would purchase another one! January 31, 2016
