Rated 5 out of 5 by Cat777 Tea Set Gift This was purchased as a gift for my grand daughter to adorn for her toddler daughter , I purchased permanent markers instead of using the paint with this set for longevity , she was thrilled to receive it , Be advised though that this is almost miniature in size , very tiny and is mostly good for décor and special occasions , it is quality made and I am sure will be enjoyed for many years to come . Rated 2 out of 5 by AlyByrd Not What I Was Looking For I bought this as a gift for a friend's daughter expecting a small tea set but not one this small! There is no way the five year old could steadily hold these tea cups by the handles as she wanted. Also contrary to what it says in this advertisement, on the back of the box it states that the tea set is not meant for actual food. Not to say the set is horrible, the quality seems great and there is a lot of paint that comes with the set, but I wouldn't buy this if you think a child is actually going to be playing tea party with it, or want to use real tea or water in it. Perfect for a decorative set or a doll's tea set. I however will be returning it tomorrow and going to a paint your own ceramic shop for Christmas with her. We'll all (including her parents with no mess!) will be enjoying that much more. November 28, 2011

Rated 1 out of 5 by unhappyinAZ1186 Very disappointed I bought this for my 8 year old for Easter, and she was really excited to paint it. The paint was very thin, transparent, and dripped down the side of the cups and pooled in the center of the saucers. We let it dry 24 hrs, as instructed, and baked it the following day. After letting it cool, I hand washed them in the sink with normal dish soap (I was worried putting it in the dishwasher would affect the paint). I let it soak a little, and when I removed the set from the water, the paint had completely come off and was floating in the basin of water. My daughter was devastated, after working so hard and having it all wash away without even having the chance to use it. I would not recommend this product to anyone!!! April 11, 2015
