Just what I was looking for... I actually have a two gallon one for my coffee pods (a friend uses a 2 gallon for cereal - keeps it fresh)and 3 one gallon jars (coffee, sugar and bagged bagels)...product is as described...ideal for my storage needs...also, i like the wide openings for measuring dry ingredients--all the extra falls neatly back into the container. Very useful in my pantry~ Love these. Use them in kitchen pantry for holding grits/flour/sugar etc. Easy to use because of the wide mouth. Going back for more. May 9, 2010
Gallon storage jar GREAT I use this as our pretzel, chex mix, pita chip jar. Seal keeps it all very fresh and the kids love it. Friends love the prezel jar so I am buying more for gifts. Nice heavy sturdy. March 11, 2010
Definitely would buy more!! The glass canisters are a perfect alternative for kitchen canisters. Their attractive design (clear glass) also allows you to see what is inside! I bought mine for flour and sugar--they were perfect. I only wish they were made in a larger size. Definitely a great buy! These are also the perfect containers for showcasing cookies and small treats. Great for dog biscuits too. December 19, 2010
It's exactly as described above. It says that it is NOT airtight above in the description. Not sure what all those comments were about. We have 7 kids so it's great as a cookie jar. I can hear when they get one and cookies don't have the time to go stale around here so airtight doesn't matter to us. April 7, 2010
Not air-tight The description is incorrect. This jar has no seal on the lid and as such is not air-tight. March 13, 2010
misleading upon looking at it, looks are attractive. BUT, it's not airtight. The lid is loose, no seal, no way to be airtight. August 6, 2009
