Oatmeal Draper Upholstered Bed 3.9 5 62 62
Stylish bed I am very happy with this bed. I got it on sale and I had an explorer coupon so it was very affordable. DEFINITELY follow the advice of earlier reviewers and get longer wood nails. That will save you energy. I got help from friends but it was not difficult to put together. I love the design -- it is adaptable to a variety of colors and decors. November 20, 2013
Great bed, very affordable This was super easy to put together and really pulls the bedroom together. I have dark furniture aside from this so it's a nice contrast. November 17, 2013
Perfect bed for an outstanding price! I absolutely love this bed and could not be happier with my purchase. The assembly was easy, although it does require the purchase of longer screws as other users have noted, as well as an electric screwdriver. The upholstery is beautiful, as are the dark brown wooden legs. It fits a low-profile box spring and standard queen size mattress quite nicely, with room for Euro size pillows that still sit below the top of the headboard. This looks exactly like a bed that would cost hundreds of dollars more -- such a steal. I have had no issues with squeaking or movement. I think that World Market updated this bed since the 2010 reviewers have commented, so I would say confidently that you can ignore those reviews. Highly recommended!! September 25, 2013
Great Buy! I went to World Market and ordered this bed to be delivered to the store to avoid the $100 shipping fee. After reading ALL of the reviews we were prepared for all that could go wrong. We had longer screws (which we didn't use because we used larger wider slants from our old bed. It is beyond our expectations! I was able to use my 15% off birthday coupon so we got a queen size for a total of $267. Happy birthday to me! My husband put the bed together 3/30/13 in about an hour or less. The bed is able to withstand 344lbs which is both our weight combined. We actually stood in the bed together to hang art above it. It is so quiet, no squeaking, creaking, nothing just complete quiet. I suppose we didn't really realize how bad our old bed was until we bought this. After sleeping 1 night on the bed my husband was like, "That's the best sleep I have had in a long time." I feel totally rested and completely happy with our purchase. It is sleek, modern and just the look we wanted for our 1 room of the house that's just ours. Now I will slowing bring in other accents to complete the look. April 3, 2013
Very pleased! I bought this bed in a queen size during the March sale. I was originally skeptical due to the numerous reviews about the thin slats. But, I figured if they were really that bad I would go out and buy better ones since I got such good deal on the frame. After buying the frame, I purchased a memory foam mattress. Other reviews recommended using a box spring with a memory foam on this bed, but I didn't. My boyfriend and I have a combined weight of 270. I have not heard one creak from the slats, the mattress does not sag, the bed is completely solid, and I am thoroughly enjoying my bigger bed. I will say that the middle support leg is too short. I tried adjusting it but it still was an inch shorter than the legs. The bottom of half of the bed does sit on a rug, but the rug isn't more than a 1/4" thick. I ended up sticking 2 floor protectors together under the leg. So far it's worked. April 2, 2013
Way better than I expected Purchased last year on sale...was looking for something to fit in a small guest bedroom...My hubby who complains about the workmanship quality in most products that require assembly was very surprised at how well this was constructed...Also the headboard upholstery is from top to bottom...most other upholstered beds have a black or white material that starts at mattress height and can be seen from side views...included a pic my small guest bedroom... Great Value! My husband was not convinced that our guest room needed a full bed frame. After shopping around to find the perfect one (I wanted an upholstered frame), I quickly realized that World Market offered the best pricing. Delivery took only a few days, assembly was super easy, and the end result is stunning. Immediately after seeing the bed put together, my husband wanted to purchase a king size for our bedroom! Best bang for the buck! Found this bed while looking for info on the CB Tate bed, read all the reviews and decided to take a chance, I mean it was a fraction of the price. If it wasn't good enough for my primary bed, I was going to use it as a guest bed. My biggest concern from reading the reviews was that the bed squeaked, and it does because the wood slats rub on the wood rails. I applied some parafin wax to the bed rails, reinstalled the bed slats and voila! No more squeaks. If you get this bed or any other bed of similar design, put some wax on the contact points where wood touches wood and you will be happy. Oh, and get longer screws, #8 x 1 3/4", you'll need at least 8. November 19, 2011
