Like one of the reviewers said, all springform pans leak! I wrap mine with clingwrap then tin foil. Does the trick very well. I'm pretty satisfied with mine. Great bargain. I love World Market cookware and bakeware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kathy Cooks Springform pan
A comment regarding the earlier comment that the pan leaks. I have been using springform pans for years (different kinds also) and they pretty much ALL leak. If you have ever watched a cooking show when they are baking something in a spring pan, they always wrap foil up, around the bottom and partly up the sides. Keep in mind, these are professionals using expensive cookware. So the leaking is not a defective springpan, it's just the nature of the beast.

The previous reviewer was right about it leaking. It is indeed a small problem in certain situations; however, in practical terms, if all you use it for is to make basic Genoise and other cakes, this spring form pan works beautifully. I am still not sure what the other user used her pan for to make it leak, but I am fairly pleased with mine. It is a good bargain at the price you pay for.

It looked great, the price was right, 'non-stick' sounded like a good idea. But it leaks. The reason that I was buying the pan was because my old one (which I've had for 8 years) leaks. I could have saved the money and used the old leaky pan. Trouble is, I don't particularly like cleaning the oven. So my search continues . . . .
