We have tried cooking pizza on the grill using a pizza stone, but find it to be too much trouble. We bought this grill and fell in love the first time we used it. Here is what worked for us: spray the grill pan with cooking spray, roll the dough very thin and place it on the grill pan. Cook until the side facing down is browned and flip it over using tongs. After you flip it, quickly spread sauce, if using, and add toppings. Cook until done and enjoy! We found that it was smart to heat the sauce before topping the pizza with it since the pizza cooks so fast. We love just brushing the dough with olive oil and sprinkling with fresh herbs for flatbread.
