Very Nice product own the Dinner Plates, the Cups and the Salad Plates will be purchasing the bowls very soon to complete my set wish you had some Nomad serving pieces also..they are just plain fun..

I purchased 8 of these about 6 months ago and they have held up wonderfully. I use them daily including putting them in the dishwasher. No spots, fading or blemishes as someone else unfortunately experienced. I get so many compliments on these! I also purchased the elephant salad plates with coordinating bowls and mugs. I love this whole set!

I purchased these plates to use as cookie and other small dessert serving plates and really like them for this purpose. I liked them so much, I bought 4 more so I could have a set of 8 for casual dinners. They are sturdy but delicate appearing. The glazing was also well done and not bubbled or with other flaws. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because I think the price point was good on sale but would be a bit high if not on sale. The caveat? I am not a big fan of the coordinating bowls and small plates. The bowls have somewhat odd dimensions (ok for small amount of fruit or very small soup, but not salad); not very functional for me. The small plates are much more elephant instead of flower dominated and some are quite heavy on the turquoise color. Fortunately, I don't mind mixing and matching, but this could be an issue for someone who does.

I actually love these plates -- I love the look of them, I feel happy every time I eat from them. I shopped forever to find exactly the set of dishes that I would love, and finally ordered a whole mixed set of these Nomad dishes. The dishes seemed to be strangely not as heavy as I expected, but otherwise they were exactly what I was looking for. I used the dishes for about a month and I was going to buy more because they were so beautiful. But these dishes chip like nobody's business. After the first chip (about 2 weeks into using the dishes), we started being more careful about washing them, but more and larger chips started appearing. I am so sad because I was so enthused about these dishes and I still love them, but I just can't justify adding more to my collection when they start getting chipped up after a month of use. For comparison, I have some dishes from Target that I've been using and washing in the same manner for the past 5 years, No chips, only one broken dish (I dropped it on the floor). I haven't had the problem with the dishes soaking up water but I mainly hand wash my dishes.

These are GORGEOUS plates. Much more beautiful than they appear online.
Like another reviewer, these soaked up the water in the dishwasher and developed an odd pattern of stains. Over time, they evened out, but now the plates are all darker than they started.
More importantly, not a one plate lasted more than 2 weeks without major chips. We're not crazy with our plates! They chip so easily.

I fell in love with this collection of dinnerware and was so excited when they went on sale. They match the colors and decor of my house, and were absolutely perfect! I went to my local WM and bought myself a set of 8 dinner plates, salad plates, and mugs. I brought them home and carefully unpacked them and placed them all in the dishwasher to clean them before we used them. I made sure before purchasing them that they were dishwasher safe. When I took them all out of the dishwasher I noticed they had these odd looking stains on them, top and bottom, and figured out that somehow every single dish I bought, including the mugs, had soaked up the water. Every. Single. Dish. It appears that they soaked it up through the bottom rim that isn't sealed and it seeped through to the top side as well. I'm so in love with these dishes, but I can't very well keep dishes that absorb water. So very sad. :*(
