Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy213AL New look for old lamp Had an old lamp that needed an update. The Basket lamp shade was just the look I was looking for with out breaking the bank! Product is well made. It does require the UNO socket. My lamp had a harp. Handy hubby just put a new socket in. It was still a little big so I just wrapped the socket with electrical tape - slipped the shade on - and secured it with some extra tape. VIOLA....sharp lamp!! LOVE IT! July 19, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Elmbelle beautiful lampshade - poor functionality I read another review that said it and should have heeded the warning - the place where the lampshade connects to the lamp is WAY too high up; the bulb really does almost come out of the top of the lamp (ESPECIALLY if you have some of the newer energy-efficient bulbs). I loved the way these looked when I first took them out of the box, but I'm going to end up returning them because of this one flaw. Really bummed because the lampshade itself is really beautiful and the price was unbeatable... guess I'll be going to Target again to get my lampshades. January 14, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lux00 Great style, poor function I love the look of this lampshade, but it has the same problem that every World Market lampshade has -- they are designed so that the lightbulb practically sticks out the top of the shade. The wire holder thing that connects the shade to the lamp needs to be about 3 inches longer so that the bulb is in the middle of the shade. The way it is now, 90% of the light goes out the top, creating a weird lighting effect. And it also looks crazy to walk by a table lamp and see the bulb almost coming out the top of it, and the shade sits too low on any lamp you put it on, covering too much of the base, making the proportions wrong. I think the style is so cute, but it just doesn't work righ. World Market, fix this design flaw across your entire line of stylish lampshades! January 27, 2013
