Mulberry Vanity Chair 4.5 5 2 2
A Goldilocks find--just right While this chair would be absolutely posh at a vanity table, I decided to use it in my "mom get away/art studio/guest bedroom". I have a daybed to sit on but found it too uncomfortable for my 5'3" frame. In fact, I often have trouble finding furniture that fits--the seat depth is too long or the height is too high so I feel like Goldilocks in Papa Bear's too big chair. This chair, however, fits my small frame perfectly! I also like the armless style that accommodates my knitting and reading hobbies. The back of the chair angles back rather than bolt upright so I can relax and watch TV or catch a nap comfortably. The fabric is rather an odd in-betweeny sort of color--kind of a deep brown/berry color but that's a good thing. It can blend in with a good range of colors, browns, red, pinks, even purples and blues. June 24, 2013
Mullbery Chair Initially i was a tad disappointed, the chair is not cushy at all and it does sit pretty darn low - about 17'' off the ground... My NYC studio is tiny though, so the scale doesn't bother me too much, although I would love it if the seat were made softer and with more cushion. But it's a great looking chair and I'm a sucker for looks so she stays! Will most definitely be getting an ottoman for more lounging opportunities. March 28, 2013
