Solid table We really like this table. It seats 10 which is what we were looking for along with the trestle style. The color isn't what I was expecting. From the pictures I thought it was more of a chestnut with warm undertones, but ours is definitely more of an Ashy grey color. Because of that I am still looking for chairs that will look nice with it. It is heavy and seems to be good quality. There are a couple imperfections but nothing we can't live with. The only disappointment for us was the delivery. We paid the freight shipping -I believe was $125 and that was to deliver inside the first door. However only one person arrived to deliver it even though the box clearly states 3 are needed. My husband had to come home from work the help the man bring it in. We also had to provide straps, etc to help move it. The company was very unprepared. I feel like we should have just picked it up ourselves and saved the delivery charge. It was extremely heavy, but my husband was able to assemble it himself without too much trouble. Overall good table just verify delivery options before you order online. November 20, 2013
Really solid. Great farmhouse look. So far having had the table for about a week we really like it. It is pretty darn heavy at 250# + and it is really big being a full 42" wide as well as quite long. It's solid with no veneers and after tightening all the bolts fully has almost no rattle and roll. It is intended to look old, so the grade of lenga wood used is on the lower end so knotholes will be present. We initially rejected the one we have now because it had a few holes where the knots had come out, but the next one had even bigger holes from even more missing knots. Probably a matter of taste - some folks might like that appearance but it was a bit much for us and would interfere functionally. But if you like the farmhouse style and you make sure you aren't getting too many knotholes especially if some of the knots are missing and all you have are holes, I think you'll love the table. Best way to look at what you are getting is to load the box in your truck upside down and pop the bottom off and check out the table top (which faces the bottom of the box) before you leave the store loading area and find too many of those knotholes for your taste. Excellent Value I am very impressed with the quality of this table. It's extremely sturdy and solid. When me moved into our new home and I began shopping for a large dining table, I expected to pay a few thousand dollars for a quality table and I am thrilled that I was able to get one for so much less! Even my picky husband, who believes that all furniture should be "hand down to my children" quality, loves this table. We did pick the table up from the store and the package was very large, but we were able to transport it home in the bed of our Tundra with no problems. I wish WM made matching chairs (I found the wooden WM dining chairs to be either too light or dark) but I am very pleased with the way the WM Greyson chair pairs with this table. February 3, 2013
Great except for a few deep knots in surface. Box is about 9' by 4' by 1' and weighs a ton. We used a 10' uhaul to pick it up in store. Staff helped us load it and were awesome. Table was easy to assemble, directions were clear. Looks awesome in our dining room. A few big knots/imperfections in the wood that go really deep in the surface of the tabletop that I wish weren't there and some gaps between boards on tabletop. But overall excellent table. Very sturdy. Would recommend to others. January 9, 2013
