Rated 5 out of 5 by Jean88 Creates incredible texture, difficult to clean. This molcajete is beautiful, ideal for guacamole, salsa or even cochineal. However, it is difficult to clean (cannot use soap.) Once it's been soaked and washed with water only, you can bake/disinfect in the oven - but be careful not to burn. The edges of my molcajete are singed and I cannot seem to buff out the burn stains. March 23, 2013
