It is exactly what I expected it to be. It is very lightweight so was easy to install and no worries about something heavy hanging from the ceiling. I was worried if there would be enough length since I was hanging it on a high ceiling, it came with about six feet of chain and wires which we could easily adjust to the height we needed. The lights cast an interesting shadow on the ceiling which adds some dimension to the room. We previously had a four light ceiling fan where we hung the Mission Light. The only negative is that the lights on the Mission Chandelier are not as bright as the previous lighting from the ceiling fan, so for homework or reading the room is a little dark at night and needs task lighting such as an additional lamp, for just hanging out the amount of light it casts is perfect.
