These were purchased in store as a stocking stuffer, but unfortunately when we opened them they did not work at all. I thought maybe we just got a bad set, but after seeing the other reviews online it appears that maybe none of them work. Too bad, because they would have been a lot of fun if they were functional.

These walkie talkies are cute and come with batteries. Those two facts are the only good things about them. They do not work, all I can hear is static even just a few feet away, and they certainly do not penetrate floors like the package says. I sincerely hope they will allow me to return them despite the fact that I opened them.

These do not work well at all. You can barely hear the transmissions even when talking in a full voice. The transmission range is also very short, only a few feet, which is much less than stated on the package. Lastly, children will have a tough time installing and changing out the batteries. Each radio uses three watch-style batteries each which are tricky for little hands to manipulate and pricey to replace. Overall, aside from the aesthetic cuteness, these were a real disappointment.

All I heard was static and I was ten feet away. Tried in a different room and even worse. So disappointed. I returned it.
