Rated 5 out of 5 by Marisa Perfect combination of yellow/gold and clear I have strung these lights around my patio and they give off a warm, almost daylight glow. We have received lots of compliments on them. They are pretty fragile so you have to use care when handling them but it is well worth it. I only wish there were yellow/gold replacement bulbs available. August 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by holyjbt Very nice, but...... I put these along the rail of my backyard deck. Nice mood lighting. But I've already broken a bulb and don't know where to find a replacement. Guess I check the internet. May 3, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Person Won't last the season I bought several strings of the mimosa and clear lights. By the end of the summer all but three bulbs had burnt out. One can buy replacement bulbs but they are so expensive from Cost Plus that it's actually less expensive to buy another strand of lights. They are beautiful. They are effective in creating a nice ambiance and they do throw off enough light. I do, however, think that they are far too expensive for the lifetime they provide and because of that are a horrible value. Also, at ~7w a bulb they are power hungry for the effect one gets; they just consume too much energy. Overall if the strands were low consumption LED lights priced at three times the cost of these I would state they were an excellent value as they would suck far less power and last much, much longer. As they are I would not recommend them for seasonal use but if one wants to decorate for a one night event and one doesn't care about the expense (congratulations) they will produce a lovely atmosphere! Otherwise a few strings of $5 Christmas lights will provide a similar effect and brightness and cost one much less. They will also last a lot longer. May 8, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5 by Indie Girl Beautiful, but burn out too quickly... I loved these when we first got them, which was only about a year ago. We hung them in our band room and they looked really cool. But after a month or so, one or two of the bulbs burned out. Not a big deal, but we rarely even used these lights and when we did, we had them on low (with a dimmer). We then recently moved two months ago and we GENTLY packed these up, and guess what? Now only about 2 or 3 bulbs on each strand actually even work!!! (We had bought FOUR strands!!) So, now I'm stuck with 4 strands of lights with about 10 working bulbs total. Ridiculous. So, although I really love the look of these, due to their lack of longevity & durability, I wouldn't recommend them. June 7, 2011
