Rated 4 out of 5 by farmhouselady Nice Look I saw this lamp in a magazine and fell in love with the shape of it. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged for shipping without damage. It was very simple to put together. The on/off switch is on the cord, and I had rather it was on the lamp base, but for the price it is still a nice look. The finish is very dark, almost black. I used it on the kitchen counter in my old renovated farmhouse, as a task light for chopping food. It would also look good in an office. It gives the feel of an antique lamp. March 18, 2016

The top adjusts a little bit to allow for a little bit of light direction control. I wish it had a switch on the actual fixture instead of an in-line switch, but it has not been a big deal for us to turn them on from the cord. I looked around at several places for a lamp this style. This is definitely the best value, plus it came with free light bulbs in the box and the store gave us 2 more! April 16, 2012
