I love the look of these laptop tables! They're a little wobbly, but very sturdy/stable; nothing is going to fall on the tables. We use it for eating in front of the TV in the living room.
Great product and I got on a super sale! Easy to put together, sturdy and table design appears exactly as pictured. I good contemporary "dining while on the couch" dinner table or laptop table or just side table for odds and ends.
We have a large sectional sofa, and wanted small tables that could partially slide over the seats to provide a place to rest a coffee mug or snack. This was perfect for our needs. There are other tables like this, but this is the only one we could find that looked more eclectic/rustic rather than too modern/sterile. The herringbone texture is lovely. Feels sturdy when put together. Doesn't feel cheap.
This table truly EXCEEDS any expectation I had for it! Living in NYC space is limited and needs to be used wisely. I am so happy I found this table - it can be easily moved around, used as a desk, a table to eat at on the couch - you name it! Although it is ''mobile" it is very sturdy. The herribone print is unique and almost gives it a vintage feel. Great table, at a great price!
this is such a smart piece. the herringbone pattern is etched in the metal and creates a cool texture. The color is wonderful, especially when the light plays off of the surface. I'm using it as a night table for my son's room.
I ordered this table when it was on sale, which made it a good value. Assembly was easy (unlike the problems reported by another reviewer, the screw holes in my piece were in the right place). The herringbone antique brass finish complements other furniture and finishes in my living room, which is where I use the laptop table. The metal corners might be a hazard for small children.
I bought this table as a fancy sort of table tray to use in front of the tv for low key dinners. It looks great next to the couch and serves the purpose perfectly. I love that I can leave it there with a few magazines and it looks like it belongs.
The finish is nearly exactly as pictured, but only very slightly less brass/metallic looking in person. I did not have any issues putting the table together. The first reviewer had issues with one of the screws, but my package came with 2 long screws specifically for the base and screwed in correctly. I recommend screwing the pieces together loosely first before doing a final tightening of all the screws to ensure everything lines up properly. It was easy to put together, everything fit perfectly, and the table was very sturdy. It was my mistake that I did not take into account the thickness of the table top, so the table was too short for my needs; otherwise, I would have kept this very nice, unique, sturdy table,
I saw this at the store and it is very nice. The pattern is gorgeous. However, the one I took home in a box wouldn't go together. The screws that hold the legs on the table are extremely short and the legs are a thick metal. At best there is a quarter inch of threaded area of the screw-hole that meets the threads of the screw. On my version the top couple of threads in the screw-hole were somehow messed up so the screw wouldn't stay in. It would just go in circles over and over without catching the threads.
