This product is easy to use since it works like a fitted sheet with elastic all around the edges. I have a twin mattress with an added pad on the top and it stretched to fit both.
There was an unpleasant odor upon opening the plastic bag so I did give it a quick wash before using which took care of the odor.
I plan to keep it on the bed and just put my fitted sheet over it when guests arrive.

I loved the product...my only hang up is the size. It's supposed to fit a standard twin sized mattress. It doesn't. It's way too baggy for a standard mattress. It looks as though it fits more like a fancy twin pillow top mattress that's about 10" thick. My daybed mattress, however, is only 7-8" and it does not fit snug at all. I will have to purchase some sort of mattress pad in order for it to fit as it should. Overall, I like it in terms of texture, color, feel, quality. It just doesn't fit small mattresses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Finch Piles badly after 2 mos of use for marshmellow cover
I got one last year for a daybed we use a fair amount. & the marshmallow fabric ended up piling quite badly within less than 2 months of use. I was thrilled with it when I first received it thinking it would be an affordable "clean" look for the daybed. I went to 3 stores before finding it. I would say is to spend a little more for one that will last longer, and I know finding a quality daybed cover that is affordable is really hard to find! I hate to say that the time it took to find it coupled with the low quality makes this a pass.
