Rated 5 out of 5 by gindy Love this soup! I am a fan of World Mkt soup mixes- this one looked interesting and we were pleasantly surprised. I tend to use the mixes as a base- and beef them up although it isn't always neccessary. In this case I added chicken broth in place of water- added sweet potatoe puree and onion, garlic, cumin, chilly powder and celery. This made it a little heartier. Like the other reviewer I used a stick blender- works great and not as meesy. November 8, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jackie Awesome soup! This soup is awesome! Very very easy to make and super yummy! I would serve this at a dinner party! It is very full of flavor and is restaurant quality. I do recommend using a stick blender to make it even easier! enjoy. I will be buying several of these and giving them as gifts this holiday. November 6, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shea752 Disappointing The Market Classics Jambalaya and Tortilla soup were excellent.. This on the other hand... To be honest though I have never had sweet potato soup before, but I was expecting it to be a sweet, savory sort of thing like sweet tomato soup. It was just.. bland to say the least. I was sad I had to throw it away, especially since there was preparation needed. August 30, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by ghak Icky No flavor, no fun. Looked and tasted like baby food once it was blended. Ate one serving and tossed the rest down the drain. Icky soup. December 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by PuterrotMond Don't waste your money. This soup was very bland and boring, not one person liked it. World Market needs to reformulate the spice blend. October 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by squiggy Personally didn't like it I bought this thinking what a fun and "exotic" dinner. The contents did not soften in the alloted cooking time. Even after the blender it still tasted dehydrated to me. We tried the syrup and cheese and just couldn't get in to it. Went down the drain. November 9, 2011
