This is just one of the quality Dutch Oven Favorites I have purchased the entire line of Dutch Oven Favorites and have been very impressed with all of them! They are easy to prepare and create wonderful dishes that I am proud to serve to family and guest alike. I sincerely hope that this product line does not disappear from World Market stores. Surprisingly Delicious! I bought a box of this chicken cacciatore mix on a whim and didn't have high expectations for it, since I'm not usually a fan of packaged foods. I prepared it for dinner last night, using my crockpot, and was very happily surprised with the outcome. As the recipe suggested, I added boneless, skinless chicken thighs, red wine & in place of canned tomatoes, I used some jarred, organic fresh tomatoes that I had on hand in my pantry. The preparation was simple...could not have been easier! More importantly, the end result was a delicious, flavorful, healthy meal that my family of 5 ALL enjoyed :) I served it with a simple green salad to complete the meal. One thing to note though: If you're expecting a more traditional, thick, tomato-based sauce, you should be made aware that the consistency of this sauce is thinner and more stew-like...some french or sourdough bread would be a fantastic accompaniment, for soaking up the delicious sauce!
