Delicious My husband and I were at Cost Plus and saw the Market Classics were on sale - buy 2, get 1 free. We picked this one up because we knew we had some stew meat in the freezer. I had just gotten a new crockpot and decided to use that instead of baking it in the oven. I really wasn't expecting much, but it was SO good. It far exceeded our expectations from a boxed mix. We used 3-buck-Chuck from Trader Joe's, Cabernet, and baby portobello mushrooms. We're eating it for lunch the day after and it's just as good reheated. March 9, 2013
A Wonderful Surprise Picked this up on a whim - we have a Dutch Oven and I really need to use it more, thus the purchase. Tonight I made the Beef Burgundy and am thrilled with the results. In fact the whole family was very pleased. The instructions are easy and simple to follow and the timing is perfect. Toward the end of the process, you are directed to add the final ingredient and then boil water for the pasta. The timing worked out so that the pasta was finished at the same time the rest of the meal was to be taken out of the oven. No guessing at when to do what and worrying that something would be left waiting for something else. Absolutely perfect. I used Cabernet Sauvignon rather than Burgundy, since that's what I had on hand, and it was just fine. Highly recommended. December 4, 2012
