delicious and highly recommended At first I was unsure about this product because it seemed high priced, but decided to try because I love Cuban food. This exceeded expectations and now I highly recommend to all! It took more than 2h and the results are incredible. Even at work, my co-workers are curious about the incredible smells coming from my plate. Serve over any rice.... Flavor packs a punch w/o being overpowering, perfect amount of spice + slight heat, and is good for 10 servings easy. Next time I'll get plantains to make even more authentic. So good! Excellent meal! WE loved this dinner! My wife made it in the slow cooker and added a 2 lb. pork loin to the mix. We loved the mild-to -medium spices that were similar to chili spices. We served it over rice. It made enough for 8 to 10 generous servings. I have been to Miami for training many times and I look forward to eating Cuban food when I visit. It's great to be able to make some tasty Cuban food here in Canton OH. We are going to try some of the other flavors that this company offers. February 8, 2014
Very little flavor We love spicy and flavorful food and when the employee of the store recommended this, I was pretty excited. He said to make it in the slow cooker, so I did ... and it was bland. It definitely had some heat from the peppers, but not the flavor I expected. We added all that it asked for, but ... meh Perhaps we got a bad batch, but based on this experience, I would not recommend it. May 4, 2014
