Why We Love It

Maltesers are honeycombed malt biscuit balls, coated in milk chocolate, with more crunchy biscuit than chocolate. Hence, the slogan: "The lighter way to enjoy chocolate". In 1936 Forrest E. Mars created these light and airy bubbles, and they are still being made today in Slough, England. In fact, over 70 years after their creation, they are one of the UK's top 5 chocolate brands. And they are still so light, they actually float on water!

Rated 5 out of 5 by OMG best chocolate ever! Once you have tasted these you will never go back to eating a milk chocolate ball or even an American Whopper chocolate. They taste so much better. The chocolate on the outside is creamy with a crunch in the middle. I am careful on how many I eat, I have been known to eat a whole bag in one day. They are pricey for a small bag but totally worth it. March 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Once you have had a Malteser you will not be able to eat any other Malted Milk Ball. I have thrown down this challenge many times and won the bet. Imagine chocolate and malt that melt in your mouth and no corn syrup in the ingredients! April 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible OMG! These are way better than Whoppers. They are light, with good quality chocolate, and the malt can melt in your mouth. I wish more places sold these. They are so hard to find in the US, but readily available in Canada, UK, Australia and HK. Kinf of expensive because it's imported, but so worth it. March 25, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Better Malted Milk Balls If you like the American brand of malted milk balls, then you will LOVE Maltesers. The malt flavor is more pronounced, and the chocolate is a higher quality. The chocolate melts easier in the mouth and is a lot creamier than the American brand. The texture of the malt candy inside is more consistently good. I go out of my way to buy Maltesers because of their superior quality. Give them a try :) October 16, 2011
