When I found this on-line, I thought it would be perfect for my needs. Shipping was fast and I was able to put it together myself with no help. I am a 69 year old woman but the instructions were so clear and easy to follow! It met my expectations perfectly which was to use it for more of a bookcase than anything. My sister-in-law just recently saw the cabinet and is going to order one for herself; it is a very handsome piece of furniture! I love World Market and browse their on-line catalog often.

I bought this however I didn't get the sale price, darn it. It was very easy to put together. When I was finished I used some wood oil on this lightly and WOW, what a difference in the wood grain, just beautiful very rich looking. It is a great size for my stereo and TV and components. I do love this Madera Series of furniture, but next time I will wait for the sale. I would highly recommend it at the $179.00 sale price especially! Can't go wrong.

I love the entire Madera series, and this console is no exception.
The wood color is warm and rich. I love the details - from the small squares on the corners to the rubbed details, you can tell it didn't come from an Ikea box. It was really easy to set up.
Here's my favorite part: we move a lot (A LOT.) We used this console first as an entertainment center with our TV mounted above and our surround sound stereo on top. We're in a new house now with a built-in entertainment center, so we placed it behind our L-shaped couch as a console table. It's the same height as the Madera console table, two inches deeper, but 4 inches shorter. It's great for the short end of L, and I'm so glad I didn't have to buy something else. It's a piece I know I can move to any part of my home and have it fit.

I am still in love with this piece! It was exactly what I needed for my space! My dvd player, wifi router and dvr box fit perfectly in here (& with all of the extra room so can so much more). This piece looks exactly like something I could have paid double for at a designer home furniture store. Putting this together was VERY simple and fast with two people (although I am sure I could have done it by myself).

We bought two of these cabinets - one for each side of the fireplace and the Madera sofa table and they are absolutely beautiful in our great room. I think the price was very reasonable for the solid construction, high end design and finish and ease of assembly. The only thing I would point out is that the cabinets are not meant to have overly heavy things on top - too much weight on top prevents the glass doors from sliding back and forth. This wasn't a show stopper for us since I have just some decorative frames and lamps on them. But when we first assembled them I had a box full of CD's on one and the doors wouldn't slide. I thought either we didn't install the door correctly or it was broken, but then figured out that I just needed to take that box off the top and then they were fine and slide back and forth smoothly now.

We bought this to use as a media cabinet in the bedroom. I put it together in about an hour. It was extremely easy! The only thing my husband did was adjust a wheel on the bottom of one of the doors t help it fit better. Everything lined up perfectly, and it went together with no issues. We even got it on sale and I had a coupon! It looks great!
