I own both the Madera coffee table and the console table. Despite the sticky drawers, I find this line to be better built than most of the furniture I have found in devoted furniture stores lately, and the price is less than half. My only complaint is that the beautiful red-brown finish scratches easily, exposing light fruitwood underneath. I just fill the scratches in with a repair kit (colored wax). With child, husband, friends, and cats, I am not going to fuss over a few scratches.
Assembly is straightforward. Just remember to read through once before starting.
The bottom shelf arrived cracked. However, World Market replaced it instantly with no questions asked. The representative even declined photographs. I think this damage was due to local delivery since we've had a few broken shipped items recently, and the table appeared to be packaged well.
I recommend this table highly, especially during a sale.

If you're tired of cheaply made, garbage furniture, then you'll love this. My wife and I bought this 3 years ago and have been burned in the past with lower cost furniture that was cheap, fragile and a waste of money. This product is sturdy and made to last. Furniture this well made would go for hundreds more elsewhere. I'm very happy with our purchase and we'll be purchasing more items from WM in the future.

I purchased the Madera coffee table and end table. The wood is absolutely beautiful and quite heavy. I assembled the end table first which took me almost an hour. I took my time with the directions. Then I assembled the coffee table and it only to 30 minutes! It was very easy. You just screw in a few bolts with an allen wrench. And you need a Phillips screwdriver to screw the drawer handles. I noticed that the drawers have dovetail joints which means quality! I'm so glad I bought these. Highly recommended! P.S. The boxes were just left on my front porch when they were delivered so make sure you'll be around. They would have delivered them within three days of purchase, but I put a vacation hold with Fedex for free so they didn't sit there for days!

I bought this piece with some other items of the Madera set for my living room. It looks great as a coffee table and has certainly met my expectations. I wasn't expecting to need/use a drawer on my coffee table but after owning it for several weeks I realized it's great for storing remotes, extra coasters, or other small objects that normally clutter a coffee table. The only note I want to bring up is that I can't tell how sturdy the lower shelf is. The rest of the table feels very sturdy but this shelf feels like it has a little give. I find myself using it as a foot-rest when the coffee table is close enough to the couch and as such I try to be careful with it though I have yet to have any real issues.

When I took it out of the box it said mahogany on the box and the quality is absolutely unbelievable! For this price at a high end furniture store as this is a very high quality coffee table, it would be at least $1,000. Get this while you can! Great value for the quality of this table! Expert craftsmanship! All mahogany wood throughout 100%.

This table is huge, in a good way. The pics people are posting don't do it justice. And its so easy to clean: I just wipe the top with a natural cleanser spray. My son (6) sits on it, my hubby props his feet on it, we store more than 10 board games underneath, and have remotes, controllers, coasters, etc in the drawer. This table is amazing. Its HEAVY, solid wood. But my husband put it together easily in a couple hrs. We initially bought it for the huge tabletop space it has. We can play a large board game on top (Dungeons & Dragons) easily. Buy it, its great.
