I just got this runner and it looks great on my table...it is a little darker in person and i think it looks better this way. I am thinking about buying another one just to have a spare one...

I bought two of these after reading the review about the kids stealing the old ones! I love them. I use one on my kitchen table and one on my tall coffee table--they make a nice decorative echo of each other. The coffee table has a delicate finish and the runner protects it from scratches. They're classy looking--a bit more formal than a cloth runner--plus I love the look of the natural materials. I'm also impressed with the workmanship--the binding, etc.
Simple to flip up the end out of the way when my granddaughter comes over to paint or play with Play-Doh on the kitchen table. Slides right back into place when we're done and looks great.

Love these runners! I have two that run parallel on my rectangle dining table. I love them because I was looking for a runner where if something was spilled on them, they'd be easy to wipe down instead of washing them in the washing machine. Love the look--super modern and clean lines. I've been looking for some kind of runner made of natural materials and this was it! Combine with colorful napkins and/or dishes the table is set.

I have had 3 of these for about 7 years, the problem is when my children moved out they "stole" them! Now I can finally replace them. I love them! I bought an old dresser from a thrift shop and put one of these on top, my friends think I bought it at an antiques store.

The color on the site appeared to be dark brown, which is what I was looking for. The runner I received was quite light in color. I do like the runner, yet am considering returning. The quality is very nice.

This is a nice runner, well-made, and it sort-of works for me. The problem is that the Website picture shows this as a medium to dark brown color. It is quite light and variegated in color, so it's not what I expected.
