If you order herbs and spices online like I do, the wide mouth jars allow easy transference of herbs and spices from their shipping bags to the jars, thereby retaining their freshness. April 4, 2015

I was expecting them to be bland and I was very surprised they are such good quality considering the price. The glass is thick and flawless. My candle wax stuck to the glass without hassle. Rated 5 out of 5 by wjmiller Nice Jar for the Money My husband and I are in the process of renovating our kitchen, and I decided to put all my spices in a drawer in matching jars. I found these jars on the website and thought they looked like a good value for the price. I was impressed by how well they were wrapped. They are nice solid jars and the lids fit tightly. They are much more interesting than some of the plain cylindrical jars with screw on lids. I put labels on the lids and lined them up in alphabetical order in a drawer beside my stove. It is so easy to find the spice I need. It makes me happy every time I open the drawer to get one of the jars. Also, they fit the contents of one of the standard spice jars nicely. The only possible limitation is that these jars are for measuring spoon use. You really can't sprinkle the contents. The jar's mouth is too wide to really allow you to sprinkle out of the jar. The contents come out too fast, so if that is what you are looking for, this jar might not be for you. December 21, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amelia Great Value for Price Great little spice jars. They are very attractive and are airtight. A bit larger than I had been expecting, but this was not a downside for me. My only critique is that the plastic of the airtight seal does not see very high quality. But they will do exactly what I need the jars to do, they are attractive and could be displayed on an open shelf, and you get six of them for the price. March 28, 2013
