This is a beautiful, well made bath towel. It is very soft and gives our bathroom a rather fancy look. Very happy!

I absolutely adore these towels for their beauty. They are soft and fluffy, beautiful after 7 or 8 washings. However, they have a major identity problem: they are not quite sure what to do with water. Yep. I washed them before the first use as is my habit. Couldn't wait to use them. Grabbed my towel after my shower, expecting the usual snuggly experience one has when toweling off. My mistake. It was as if the towel said, "What IS this wet stuff and just exactly what do you expect ME to do with it???" So the towel made do with moving the water around to different locations on my body and leaving it there. I thought, "Surely this will improve with time and a few more launderings." Nope. Maybe some slight improvement, or maybe I'm just getting used to feeling cold and damp while I (try to) dry off. These towels have been washed at least 7 times and they still have a problem with water. I don't know if the fibers don't wick the water away or what the problem is, but the towels are 100% cotton, so I am at a loss as to why they don't dry. Yes, they are absolutely beautiful. But that's all. No, I would not buy them again
