I just read the other reviews about not being able to use the picnic set for food. My basket did not come with that label, but I was concerned about the wicker pieces already splintering and sticking out in various places right out of the box. Having seen the reviews about the food hazard, I am definitely returning this.

The basket and contents are cute, but in small letters on the packaging is the warning that the product is not to be used with food. I wonder if it has lead in the glazes. What child could receive such a toy and not at some point use the dishes for food or beverages? I have no idea what to do with it. I dare not give it to my grandchild.

Don't buy this if your kid will actually want to use the plates and cups. The label actually says not for use with food. Cute basket, though. Too bad!
