Rated 5 out of 5 by GoodFoodForUs Good pasta Great shape It is very hard to find bucatini. It is slightly larger than spaghetti but has a tiny hole through it. This shape adds a texture that adds depth to most pasta dishes. It is the opposite of angle hair. It is dense. It takes almost 10 minutes to cook from dried (impossible to find it fresh in Portland, or) My first plate was a seafood carbonara. A creamy sauce with lots of seafood and cheese matched up to this hardy pasta perfect. But I have tried it with many sauces and it works for me! Buy some now! November 13, 2013
