Luxe Sofa I have 2 Luxe sofa's in our Living Room. Yes, the slipcovers are a little expensive so I waited till they were on sale to buy additional. I have the Dark Grey (discontinued now) and Ivory. I switch them out every 6 months or so with the Ivory for Spring/Summer and the Grey for Fall/Winter. I did read the instructions so just washed and hung outside to dry. They are a little snug going back on but not unduly so. I wish they hadn't discontinued the other colors but that seems to be the trend. They wear incredibly well and I would recommend them. Very versatile and nice clean lines. April 29, 2013
Best lil Sofa in Town For about 6 months this sweet lil sofa has been in my tract home's lil TV room. It is a perfect match to the newly tiled floors which range in cement mix colors (Builtmore Grey from the Orange Box store). I could kick myself for not ordering the grey covers once available *sigh*. I might order the white ones for a crisp summer look. January 28, 2011
Great little sofa & slipcover set! I love this sofa - I have it with the ivory slipcover. I was going to buy the khaki color, but once I saw it in person I didn't like it. It's very yellow-ish, not the pretty muted beige shown on the website. It was a breeze to assemble & looks great in my living room. You may want to see it in person before ordering, as it IS smaller than the typical sofa. December 28, 2010
Mixed feelings... It fits well in our living room and looks ok, but read the fine print...although it is washable, it cannot be put in the dryer. That is a bummer! Also, washed one piece and some color was lost (and we have the lightest one!)it came out uneven and blotchy. It definitely needed 2 people to put it together...lots of pieces! March 19, 2011
Not worth it. At first glance, this sofa might seem like a deal; after all, the frame portion is only $250. However, the slipcovers are an additional $200, and you'll definitely need to replace it at least once a year. That means you'll be spending $450 when you buy this couch, and for a little more you could get something that's much better quality. The slipcover has not withstood normal use AT ALL. There are two zippers on the back on either side (to pull the slipcover tight), and one of them fell off the first time I ran them through the washer. The actual washing presented another set of problems: first, the stain I was trying clean off didn't go away. Now, that might seem like a user error so to speak, but given that the stain was a little milk that my toddler spilled, I thought it should have come off. The other problem was the water from the washing itself. You can't put them in the dryer, and washing left water marks on the fabric. It's been kind of a bummer; we got this couch because we have kids and wanted something we could throw in the washer occasionally, but that hasn't worked out. At this point we should throw out our old slipcover and buy a new one. However, given that they cost $200 and fall apart in the first few months it doesn't seem worth the cost. There's not a great color variety and the couch isn't very comfortable. All in all, I think we'll ultimately end up replacing the whole couch with something more comfortable and with slipcovers that actually withstand normal use. October 20, 2012
A let down I was very disappointed to find out several dirt spots on the new slipcovers. We had put half the slipcovers on when we realized these dirt marks. Three of the dirt marks were on folds and were dark gary in color. The other two marks were just random places on the slipcovers for the cushions. The color is also more of a green khaki then tan khaki. January 2, 2011
