These were just what I wanted in a colorful placemat. The only thing I ended up not liking were the tassels. They took away from the look and I removed them.

These are made of a very nice fabric. Sturdy, but still soft and flexible material. The colors are very vibrant and will blend well with many solid colors. The stitching is nicely done. I did have to cut a loose thread, but it didn't leave a gap in the stitching. Make sure to measure the placement of your placemats against the table. I'm the silly goose that bought a new table, but didn't think about the size of the mats before purchasing. I ended up not liking the tassels and cut them off. Took away a touch of the unique bit, however, the placemat works just as well standalone.

My husband is not one to notice our linens, but he even he noticed these place mats. they looks very sophisticated and make a statement on our dinning room table. I would recommend them, especially for the price.

LOVE the look of this design! Just wish that maybe the surface was sealed or even had some sort of lamination to preserve the color. It fades horribly after the first wash:( The poms fall off almost instantly, so I would recommend reinforcing them before use. But because of its beauty, I would actually buy more:)
