These are sweet little bowls that remind me of the ice-cream parlor in my hometown. I collect jadite and these are a nice addition at a great price. I can't wait for the next birthday so I can pair them with the plates and the cake stands. Also would be adorable filled with a yogurt parfait at Easter brunch. They look beautiful mixed with my turquoise dinnerware or my white china.

I love how these bowls look and kept an eye out at my local store for them after seeing them on the site. I bought 6 and was considering buying 6 more to go with my service for 12 but am now contemplating returning what I bought before I have even had a chance to try them with food!
I guess that the glass is so slick that the price tags would not stick and so they used some kind of super thick glue to attach the tags. It looks kind of like rubber cement but unlike rubber cement it will not come off no matter how much I scrape it, or rub it. I even left them to soak in my sink for several days hoping that might help loosen the glue, but it didnt do anything. I am sure that if I tried enough solvents on them I would eventually get it off but I am pregnant (and don't want to use a bunch of chemicals, especially on a dish I am going to eat food off of) and frankly I shouldn't have to work this hard to get glue off of a brand new product that I just bought.
I have emailed World Market and hope they can help me get the glue off because I really don't see how I can use them with big glue dots on the side of the dishes that I am sure will start to look gross over time if left there.
I will also add that there were about 10 of these dishes at my local store and I had to hunt for 6 with out any chips or black flecks in the glass (I actually ended up getting one with a tiny chip at the base because the others had worse issues) so keep that in mind if you are ordering online. I am so disappointed as they really are beautiful dishes and I was so looking forward to using them for easter and beyond.
