I purchased two tables, one as an office desk and one as a work table for art projects. I can put them together to have a 10' conference or dining table or as a 5'x6' table for large projects. I love the wood. It is finished enough yet has a rustic reclaimed feeling that I wanted. The metal bases have an artistic industrial quality and are sturdy without getting in the way.
I will make 1/4" plywood pads with felt backs to protect the tops from messy projects, but intend to show the wood off normally.

I have had this table for 2years. We use it as a dining table, homework table and game table. Some times we use place mats and at other times we don't. So far the table has held up well with no damage. I chose to not be so strict with this table as if/when it starts to show wear and use, I think I will love it that much more. I would love to have a matching bench though.

The Jackson table fits perfectly w/an old bench that I have been wanting to use for a breakfest nook in my new house. The tabletop has a nice smooth finish and the dark wood really sets off the metal accents and tub chairs. As you can see in the picture I have paired the table and chairs with the black diamond jute rug and wood/medal stools. The industrial look of the table, chairs, stools and rug work well with my countertops and flooring. WM continues to make great design affordable!

Everyone that I have ever had over my house loves this table. "Where did you get this?!" I am a DIY woodworker, and honestly didn't have the time to make my own table in time for my new house, but this table met all my expectations and more. I have a farmhouse feel to my house, and this table fits perfectly, I even have the metal chairs. It completes my dining room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Super easy to put together as well, took me maybe 5 minutes? All world market furniture is normally a cinch tho, so no big surprise!

I purchased this table along with the Lydia chairs about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. I decided to go with fabric on the chairs instead of the metal ones for a softer look. It was super easy to set up and its very sturdy. I was a little worried about how clean it would stay with two kids but its super easy to clean; I just use a damp cloth.

Purchased this online to use as a desk at home for my creative business and it is perfect. The surface is smooth enough to draw on and has plenty of space for art supplies. I think it would be awkward as a table because to me, it looks like a work table, not a dining table. Especially since chairs can't be at the short ends. Now if it only really was a desk and had an L-shaped extension, I'd be into that! The finish is great and was pleased in how quickly it shipped. Assembled in 5 minutes.

My husband loves spreading his paperwork out on my dining room table. I'm not a fan. You don't see paperwork junk spread all over in model homes or decorating magazines. As such I decided my husband needed his own 'dining room table' for his office. This table serves as an amazing desk in an office and with the awesome wood and metal materials it is just the right combination of cool classic and masculine to make it the perfect fit for an office (not really its intended use but it's functioning and looking fab in our home office!).

This table exceeded my expectations. It's the perfect size. With the smaller chairs, you could squeeze six in, but four is really perfect. I went with a copycat chair from another site because I wanted a pop of color, and it really changes the effect in my opinion. The grain on the table is simply gorgeous, and the iron is sturdy and beautiful as well. Depending on your chairs, I think this could fit any decor!
