Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice looking - sheds a lot This is a very nice looking rug and provides a cozy atmosphere to my living room. It does have a lot of fine, loose fiber and upon first vacuum with a powerful & popular bag-less vacuum, it pulled up a lot of fine fiber that took me some time to remove from the canister. That being said, the rug looks soft and fluffy now. I expect this will happen a few more times upon vacuuming. Also the rug lays nice and flat and doesn't slip around on my laminate flooring. I have it "anchored" on one side with a large chair and I do not find that the other edges slips around or bunch up. May 28, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful, but sheds This rug is perfect in so many ways - size, pattern, softness, etc but it unfortunately never stops shedding. I've had this rug for 5 months and the shedding is non-stop and sticks to everything and everyone who gets near it. It's pretty, but maybe in a room with less traffic. January 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty to Look At The rug is pretty to look at, but I am not a big fan of how it feels. Whenever I sit down on the rug in my yoga pants, the threads get stuck in the pants and it's quite itchy. It also takes forever to get off with a lint roller because the individual threads seem to really catch (similar concept to Velcro). Overall it's pretty to look at, but quite itchy if you sit on it with thin pants. January 31, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Beautiful rug but not worth the upkeep I am sad to say this is the ONLY item in the years of shopping at World Market that I've ever regretted purchasing. We looked for a long time to find the perfect rug and thought this was it. We were SO WRONG. As beautiful as this rug is, it sheds worse than any dog or cat I know. We have bamboo floors and I am constantly sweeping AND vacuuming or it quickly starts collecting along the walls. If you sit on it in thin clothing, it pokes through and is extremely itchy. Not to mention it gets on everything. I'm embarrassed to have guests over because they always get rug fibers all over them. I was certain that the shedding would eventually subside, but after nearly a year of owning this product, it still fills up my vacuum every time I vacuum it. Despite being what I thought was a good value at the time, it was a waste of money in the end since it's being nothing but a pain since I purchased it. Though I will likely buy my next rug from World Market, sadly, I would not recommend this product in any sort of medium to high traffic area. March 10, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by We HATE this rug We have had it for three months and the shedding does not stop. It's a mess. I'm going to try to return it even if I only get store credit. January 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed I am very disappointed in this rug. It looks great, but sheds like crazy! I have to vacuum it everyday! Not only is this an inconvenience, it is embarrassing when I have company over and their black socks end up covered in white fibers! The quality is not what I would expect from World Market, nor a rug for this price. This rug has been a hassle and I wish I never bought it. Sad, because I normally liked everything I bought from World Market. November 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY This rug looks great but is Terrible due to non stop shedding. I bought it in September 2013 and put up with all the shedding until July 2014 when I had enough and rolled it up and tossed it. Had to then purchase another rug. Went with Pier1 this time. If you buy this rug, you will have wool fibers all throughout the house. You can't even sit on the rug with black pants without your pants being covered in wool fibers. Not a great rug for kids, as they play and get fuzz on their hands. My 18 month old daughter was saying "fuzz" and then trying to wipe it all off her hands. I really stuck it out and thought all the shedding would go away, but unfortunately no. I couldn't keep this rug with a baby on the way and a toddler and constant wool fibers all over the house. Very disappointed because I loved the look of this rug. The wool used is very poor quality. August 21, 2014
