Beautiful Gift!!! A beautiful gift for a tea-lover! December 13, 2010
Good mug for the price. This is a good little mug for the price. However like another user commented, the loose tea does slip through the infuser holes. Although, I've found that the loose tea that slips through, just kind of falls to the bottom of the mug. So at least your not getting tea leaves in your teeth. The only other problem I have with this mug is that it is a little small for my liking. But if you're a one and a half cup tea sipper, this is the mug for you. The nice thing about this mug is when you are finished steeping your tea, just flip the top over and you have a little bowl to put your infuser. Makes for easy cleanup. June 22, 2011
I love my infuser mug. I just bought mine last week and have used it about five or six times. I love it! The only downside is that some of the tea leaves get through the holes in the infuser, but they settle to the bottom, so it's not a big deal. The one I bought was sold alone for [$] rather than as part of a set. I don't know whether I would have bought two together. April 10, 2011
Nice, but infuser gets too hot to handle I love this tea mug. I bought these for me and my daughter as she is going to study in England for a year and wanted to start drinking tea. They're very pretty and the lid keeps the tea nice and hot while it is steeping. Yes, a bit of loose tea does make it through the holes, but it settles to the bottom and isn't an issue. The only real problem I have with it is that the infuser gets very hot while the tea is steeping and you need to use a napkin (or other device) to insulate your fingers in order to remove it from the mug. A regular tea strainer with a handle doesn't have this problem. Other than that, it's quite nice! April 17, 2012
Kind of Disappointed I got this because I love to do my loose teas while I'm at the office. I was so excited about trying it out, but I found that the loose tea just gets everywhere. I love the concept, but I think the diffuser holes should be smaller and more numerous. I literally have to clean up all the tea mess when I'm done, which is what I was hoping this item would avoid.
