Anyway, to my pleasant surprise, I found that it had a smokiness to it that I hadn't experienced with any other organic unrefined coc. oil b4. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced that?? I happen to love that about it, but wonder why it is (I am a why? person). I do have an xtra keen sense of smell/taste, but if anyone has had this experience, let it be known, or I'm thinking I'm really a weirdo (more than usual : ) It's simply wonderful is all I can say. I am glad I took this risk. THIS IS THE BEST UNREFINED VIRGIN COCONUT OIL I have found yet (AND THE BEST VALUE!). I have previously been using The Nutiva Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (54 oz plastic jar) as my main coconut oil. And, occasionally, I'll get a deal on the Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil (which is normally too expensive for me to buy). Let me be perfectly honest here. This product I purchased from World Market is better than the expensive Tropical Traditions Gold Label product (in my opinion). It's creamier, it smells more like fresh coconuts and it tastes heavenly. I hope World Market will continue to carry this brand. I use unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil for oil pulling (dental health), cooking, baking and skin/hair care. It's the best! April 23, 2014
