this sauce is ready to use, not dry like the other one. i have used both, and this brand is far better than the other one. i just finished a rack of baby back ribs, and it was excellent. i have also used it on pork tenderloin, and my son said it is the best char siu he has ever had. in the past, i have always used a slow cooker, but this last rack of ribs i did in the oven. i wanted the outer part of the meat to have the carmelized sauce, this cannot be done in the slow cooker. i was concerned that the meat would not be tender, but it came out perfect. i used 325 deg, but next time i will use 300. the very outer part of the meat was just a tad overdone. i used one packet to marinate overnite, then i used another packet to baste about every 30 min. baked for 3 hrs. the ribs look/taste exactly like we used to get in hawaii. the carmelized outer part has excellent flavor, better than in the slow cooker.
