I was originally looking for a punched metal table lamp of small size, but could not find anything and then I found this one. This is of the perfect little size to put on top of a bookcase or a tall stereo cabinet of some sort. I bought two of these for just such spaces. They look perfect. There is a matching shade, but you can buy shades elsewhere - however, they might not fit correctly around the ring, but there are ways around making it fit - it is just a little wobbly. The shade you can buy here is white, but when lit appears yellowish. I opted for one from Target, but the ring does not fit over the socket, so you just have to screw the lightbulb in to hold the lamp shade in place. AWESOME price ! Very happy with this. June 5, 2015
