Rated 5 out of 5 by Dlovli Finally! I use these jars to hold sacred herbs in my apothecary cupboard. I am surprised at how hard and expensive it is to find these simple necessities. The varied design adds personal charm; I love going to my cupboard filled with cute bottles and my handwritten labels. Thank you for carrying these. I buy in bulk, and will need more! May 6, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by alimiller09 Not as big as I thought they'd be There were no real measurements listed for the width of the mouth on the jars, but I decided to purchase anyway. I wanted to use them for spice jars, since they're so adorable. They're absolutely precious in person, but not functional for spice jars. The mouth is too narrow to get your fingers in to grab some spices. I wanted to use for salt, pepper, garlic, and cumin (my most used spices). I ended up getting other jars for those and using these for cinnamon, chili powder, oregano, and lemon pepper so I don't have to use them so often. They're pretty, though. March 18, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carolyn Love their size, shapes, and look! These are beautiful jars, which I'm using to package a spice mix I am giving as gifts this year. The jars are so beautiful - such substantial glass in a beautiful color green, with interesting shapes - that I'm proud to give the jars as gifts even if my friends don't want the spices! The only concern I have, which was not addressed in the description, is whether the cork tops (which are very well shaped and fit perfectly), are sanitized enough to be in contact with spices that might not be cooked. That is my only reason to give them 4 rather than 5 stars. I looked online about how to sanitize cork and several places said to steam or boil, so I steamed 3 of them and ruined them - this cork is too loose for that treatment, and got burnt and started crumbling. I finally just wiped the rest with alcohol and let them sit out overnight and that seems to have worked. A World Market staff member suggested cellophane between the cork and contents. Good idea!
