Look out Le Creuset!!!!! This product makes the best roasted chicken we've ever had. The breast meat is tender and doesn't dry out. Perfect for any type of roast, soup, stew - you name it! Considering the $$, what a deal. Absolutely my favorite cookware now. I bought 2 more sizes since. Unless we are gone for the day, the crock pot sits on the shelf. In fact, it does a BETTER job than the crock pot. Thank you, World Market! June 7, 2012
Eat Your Heart Out, Le Creuset Matches a smaller Le Creuset Dutch Oven that I got as a gift, and I love. However I couldn't afford buying a larger size for some of the larger cooking needs I have. This is just an awesome deal! Can't wait for all the Boeboties and Braises! April 16, 2011
Love it!! I have this in red. I love it! Its my new favorite way to cook chickens and any roasts. Things come out tender, juicy and flavorful! Im not sure I'll have much use for my crock pot anymore. March 25, 2011
Frequent shopper I gave this as a gift and it was hard to give away. This is very beautiful and heavy. The recipient loved it. January 7, 2011
This is my current favorite! This kitchen tool allows you to prepare meals with flavor that has layered itself lending to the most wonderful meals! December 25, 2010
i love it bought two!! I love this, i let my daughter borrow it and then she had to have one, she bought the same one, cooks fast easy easy clean up!!! December 12, 2010
LOVE it! I've been wanting a GOOD piece of enamel coated cookware for a while. My mother told me it "HAD" to be Le Cruset. Which is why I've just WANTED a piece for a LONG time. Well, reading the reviews, I decided to get one from Cost Plus. Hey, for [$] (I had a $10 coupon!), how could I go wrong? It's the EXACT size of the griddle burner on our new gas stove. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The only thing that makes me "nervous" about it is that the knob on the lid is rated only to 428 degrees. June 17, 2011
So glad I didn't buy the Le-Cresuet I purchased this primarily for making bread, in particular the no knead bread that has become a cult classic recently. Lucky me, I decided to do some braising just to run it through it's paces and was blown away...bye bye crock pot, NO COMPARISON in flavor. Very easy to clean is a big plus. I did do some digging and looked at about 7 boxes before I found the PERFECT one, the main thing I was looking for was a perfect seal for the lid, it was elusive but worth the extra work. I have done about 20 loaves of bread w/this in the oven pre-heating at 500 degrees for 45 minutes and another 45 minutes baking to no ill effect. Of course I have replaced the handle with a Le Cresuet metal one. Still in perfect condition. Could buy 5 of these for what the french one would run you. February 15, 2011
