I used this tea pot for several months every day. Generally, I used a dark coffee cup. This weekend I used a clear cup and noticed that the tea was blackened from the paint on the inside of this pot. I had some blood tests done and have found significant buildup of toxins on my liver. I have always been healthy and believe that this tea pot was the source of toxins. I hope that there are no long term effects. If you buy this pot, use it only as a decoration. If i were on the corporate team, I would pull this product from the shelves. Buy a pot that has no paint on the inside if you like to drink tea.
Tea drinkers heaven in this little pot! Just add loose tea in the filtered top, pour in the hot water and let it steep for 5 minutes. Easy to use, easy to clean and is an elegant way to serve tea. No fuss, no muss! Enjoy!
AFter a couple of uses, the pot has rust and can no longer be used. I did not leave water in the pot. Very disappointed.
I was so excited when I bought this teapot! when I took it home I was skeptical because it would rust. However, the most disappointing part was that my tea would turn black! every tea I would make would come out black because of the pot. I have no idea why it did this.
This is a beautiful little tea pot.Paired with the tea warmer it keeps the tea piping hot. I bought another one as a gift. If you purchase the tea warmer I use three tea lights and the tea stays very hot.
