Rated 4 out of 5 by buyingtheworld Great sofa, poor fabric choice This little sofa is comfy and versatile, and takes up very little visual space in our beach house living room. It is easy to assemble as well. I cannot speak to the longevity of it, as it is new, but everyone who used it for sitting and sleeping gave it two thumbs up. The big downside: The fabric on this sofa actually attracts dirt of all kinds and invites stains like no other I have seen. Hands you think are clean will stain this thing! I noticed this problem in the store sample and planned and made a removable cover for it from a white solid quilt with two matching full size shams on the back of it for pillows instead of the ones supplied. It looks great. I would not have ordered it or kept it if did not know I could attractively cover it. August 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by BobN Great design Loved it when I seen it. Fits in my office, great to relax and read on and comfortable to sleep on. The cats love it to. But after the 1st wash, and I hung it to dry because I knew it would shrink some. The zipper separated in several spots, unfixable. The zipper clasp has broken in two. So there it sits gapping open and the stuffing sticking out. Very poor design to put a nylon zipper in to support these cushions. So there it sits with a throw on it till I can put in a metal zipper. Replace covers run $130 dollars, and I presume they to will perform the same way. Company should replace new covers to all buyers. So I'm off to the craft store in search of a long zipper, only because I love this comfy sofa. July 7, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kdavs Love this daybed, but the slipcover is the worst We got this daybed for our three season room, and usually use it like a chaise. The style, functionality, everything is perfect. The problem: we washed the slipcover. I had seen reviews noting that the reviewer was unable to use the slipcover after washing. We washed it in cold water, on gentle cycle, and tumbled dry, no heat--that seems to be what the instructions implied. We could zip it back on, but the zipper would just randomly open at various places around the cushion. The stuffing was exposed. I had to go buy another slipcover; I was pretty displeased. It also depletes the value of the purchase when you have to spend 2/5 of the cost of the entire daybed on another slipcover. On the way home I stopped at a discount store and bought a set of twin sheets for a few dollars. They fit well enough that you can barely tell they weren't made for the sofa. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who bought this sofa., since the included slipcovers are unwashable. August 3, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by MrDomino Beautiful sofa while it lasts (which is until it's time to clean it) This is such a great looking sofa and was perfect for my balcony, fitting snugly between the two double doors and making for a perfect resting spot. I love how versatile the design is, allowing it to go from love seat to chaise lounge to bed in an instant. I had lusted after this sofa for some time and was thrilled when I finally brought it home. Unfortunately, while this day sofa is excellently designed, the slipcover zipper is incredibly frail. You won't notice it at first since the cushions are already zipped in, ready to plop on the frame once assembled. It hasn't even been a full year since buying when I decided to remove the cover to clean it, and sure enough I can no longer secure the cover over the cushions since the zipper popped. It's a real shame because it is such a nice sofa and exactly what I want, but I can't afford spending $100-120 on a new slip cover each time it needs to be cleaned. Given the otherwise solid construction of the frame and materials, I'm rather surprised by how flimsy the one little zipper securing it all is. For this reason and this reason alone, I think anyone looking at this sofa should reconsider. Unless you have the skills and tools to sew a new zipper to the slipcover or you're more than willing to buy a new slipcover each time you need to unzip the thing -- doesn't that sound absolutely ridiculous? -- you need to pass on this sofa. I'm pretty bummed since I designed my whole balcony around this sofa, but I have let it go. I'm only glad I was able to wait as long as I did to clean it, so I at least got a good 10-11 months of use out of it. June 29, 2015
