I couldn't believe the price and first looked at a store display before I purchased it. It is beautiful and very sturdy. The color is a beautiful gray that blends in with alot of other finishes and colors. After reading the reviews, I studied the instructions and put it together myself. I'm a petite female and had no problems putting it together myself. I purchased the white and green crinkle curtains to give it a cabana bed on the beach kind of look. Love it..and will definitely order more furniture from world market in the future. March 26, 2016

My 15-year old daughter and I were able to put the bed together in an hour and a half with no issue whatsoever. It is very sturdy and beautiful. Now my daughter wants the same bed! February 15, 2016

Went to the big name furniture stores but to get something of decent quality had to spend upwards of $1000. Read the reviews for this bed and went to the store to check it out. It is indeed very sturdy and assembly is not difficult, although it helps to have 2 people. Great delivery service too. Excellent purchase December 23, 2015

This is really not a review of the product but more of the delivery options, because I have not purchased it....I wanted to and would have until I saw there is no in store pick up available. Even though there is a great sale of 25% off right now the exorbitant shipping and delivery surcharge wipes out the "sale" savings! Please make this bed available for pick up and I will be first in line to purchase as I'm sure many others will be also! November 2, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kpro Grey and Sturdy Bought this over Columbus Day weekend, so I got a great deal. Even at full price I think this bed is a steal! Super sturdy and looks great. Wood is more grey than pictured, but I don't mind it. Took my husband and I about an hour to assemble. Tip: use a ratchet for the bolts instead of the tool that comes in the hardware set. I had been searching for a traditional looking canopy bed with modern lines that could fit a box spring. I knew World Market would deliver a quality piece and the price was right. The wood is solid and heavy, and the entire thing was easy to put together (took a little over and hour and I did 80% of it by myself). We've had the bed for a few months now and it has held up wonderfully-no squeaking, no rocking-very sturdy. The grey-wash of the wood is not my favorite (although others may love it) but I knew I could paint it down the road if I wanted to--I'm sure the bed will hold up! Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. June 4, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by wmbguy Beautifully designed, solid construction, easy to assemble I love how this bed's elegant traditional Asian lines combine with the informal weathered gray color of a beach cottage. It's a solid, heavy piece. While it's recommended that two persons assemble the bed, I did it alone in a little over two hours. Instructions were clear and helpful. May 15, 2015
