We are very happy with the quality of this table. There are grooves that food can get stuck in, but for the price, it is worth it.

This table looks very expensive! I actually called many locations to locate the bench and drove two hours each way to get one. Worth it! The ladies in North Olmsted were fantastic and so helpful... I capped each end with the cream chairs from World Market as they were at an incredible deal. I receive many compliments on this table and wanted something long enough to entertain.
I had my niece and nephew over and just used placemats for them (although since then we got a cheap table with no cracks for the dinette to act as a kids table). This set really is beautiful and we are very happy with is. One chair was faulty though and it took a month to get a new one. The wooden chairs are very comfy too.

I have owned this table for nearly a year and a half. Overall it has been a wonderful, sturdy, functional piece for our home. We did a mix & match for seating - two wooden chairs, two fabric chairs and a bench. Love the look. Other notes: The bench only slides under the table completely when the leaf is installed. (We love the extended size for larger gatherings). We have an almost two year old who has always eaten at the table with us in a clip on high chair, and he is messy. The table top has small gaps between the wood boards that crumbs/food easily gets stuck in. I find that the cracks need cleaned out and hand vacuumed often. Not a deal breaker for us, just FYI!

THIS TABLE IS AWESOME!! When I bought this table, I was nervous about purchasing something online that I couldn't return (nearest store is 6 hours away) I am very happy with it. If you're thinking about getting this set, do it. You won't be disappointed. It is absolutely beautiful!!
As other reviews mentioned. It is a very very soft wood (I found place mats with cork backings which are working perfect)
For people with kids, I did NOT put the metal crossbars under my table (for safety) and it is very sturdy without them. They are for decoration and CAN be omitted in the assembly.

Love this table and fits perfectly in my dining room. I have looked everywhere for the perfect one. I wasn't sure from the marketing photo how it would look but it's definitely good quality and rich in color. I'm so in love!

Table is beautiful, solid and of great quality. Crumbs can fall into the cracks but I simply use an air duster (like for a keyboard) to blow any crumbs out. Very happy with this purchase.

Warm rich brown finish. Love the distressing. Heavy material, very sturdy and stable table. Home delivery service was excellent. Called about a week ahead to schedule delivery and then also called 30 mins. before arrival. Extension fits easily. Assembly does require at least 2 people. Only negative is crumbs do find their way into the grooves. Hand vac easily picks them up. We use this table everyday, twice a day. Overall an AWESOME table!!
