Rated 4 out of 5 by xiaj pretty and decent It looks as I expected. Little jersey pieces come off, but that happens most of shag rugs. I use it as an area rug by the sliding door in the back. My dog goes in and out, so I wanted something absorbable and pretty. It does the job. I have no complaint about the quality, and love the look. I'm actually buying two more. I have not washed it yet. I have no comment on that. September 28, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by dsolca Cute but disappointing. Upon reading the review for the white version of this rug, I had high hopes. I like the look of the rug and color. The subtle mixture of light and dark grey hues looks awesome with my bathroom decor. The fabric is soft. However, the rug had a weird smell when purchased, (I noticed all of them in the store did as well) so I washed it before using it. The label says machine washable, but after washing it once on the delicate cycle, the fabric pieces began falling out. (I did not put in dryer, let air dry.) The smell did not go away after washing, although not as strong. Probably would diminish with multiple washings, but of course by then there may not be any fabric on the rug left! Very disappointed. Rated 1 out of 5 by sgp37 super cute disaster rug i wanted to like this rug so much i bought two of them. sadly, the little strips of jersey / t-shirt are not sewn to the actual rug, they are just looped through loosely. what this means is that they are constantly falling out and you find the little pieces of shag all over. and you can't possibly wash them because of that. one of the two we have now is nearly bald and almost all the strips have fallen out after just a couple months. such a bummer because i really like the way they look. if you are into disposable bath mats, then this is the one for you. Rated 1 out of 5 by mk323 discolored & stinky I went to look at this rug in the store today. The jersey shag rugs with tags that said "frost gray" were actually a weird brownish/reddish color... NO gray at all! The color definitely did not look like this picture. I'm not sure what happened here. I did see another pile of grey bath rugs (a different style from these) that looked like it was bleached along the crease where each rug was folded in half -- obvious discoloration which ruined the rug, yet they still had them out on the shelves. Maybe some of their products got sun-bleached in transit? These jersey shag mats were also EXTREMELY foul-smelling in the store. Blech! I was really hopeful, but unfortunately this one was not a winner :( September 13, 2013
