Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful chairs We bought these for our dining room table. They were easy to construct and came with felt bottoms to prevent scratches on the floor. Very sturdy and much larger than I anticipated! Pretty dark wood color and nicely "weathered". Our table is a light wood color and the chairs contrast it nicely. Definitely recommended! Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid, rustic chairs - a great value! We bought 3 pairs of these chairs to use with the Rustic Java Greyson Fixed Dining Table. They are a PERFECT compliment to the table, and we greatly prefer them over the Greyson chairs, since these are easy to keep clean, feel much more solid, and fit our room perfectly. PROS: --Truly good-looking (the slats on the back remind me of an old farmhouse) --Solid (you can flop down on these without wondering if they'll give way) --Great size (compared to other chairs we tried at World Market, these are wide enough to feel comfortable for my 5'8" wife or for me or my father-in-law, both 6'3") --Easily assembled with good directions (the first chair took me about 45-60 minutes to assemble, but once I got the hang of it, each took me about 20-25 minutes) CONS: --Nothing I can think of Each friend who has seen or sat on these chairs has commented on how great they are. These are worth much more than what we paid for them. November 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by These are very versatile chairs. I purchased 4 of these chairs to put with the Garner extension table I bought last fall. They are a great fit for the table and are sturdy enough to accommodate my three very large sons. I like furniture with unique qualities and the "distressed" finish on these chairs fits the bill. The table and chair combination looks fantastic with the eclectic antiques I have throughout the living and dining area of my home. Thank you World Market! August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice sturdy chairs The chairs look rustic and very sturdy. The high back support is very comfortable. One of the chairs had a missing bolt but the customer service sent me a hardware packet very promptly. I am happy with the design, quality and the price. May 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these chairs! Just got 4 of these beautiful chairs last week. They are stunning rustic looking chairs and are quite big with high backs then I've seen before. I put them together myself without help in about an hour and had no problems at all. April 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Issues with quality control and assembly One chair came out pretty good, the other one in the set did not. The pilot holes drilled on one chair were not centered so the seat is aligned to the left of the backing while the other one is centered. Also, the pilot holes were hard to screw into (not sure if they were drilled all the way). The worst part is the stretchers. 2 out of the 4 screws (for each chair) did not screw into the leg. I think thy were too short, or the pre drilled pilots weren't deep enough. The end result is the strechers are lose and not flush with the legs of the chair. I will probably get a half inch longer screw to finish the job. Overall, quality is not as expected. I got the Francine bench and it went together fine and seems very sturdy. September 21, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product does not meet expectations I purchased 6 of these chairs. While the chairs are beautiful and seem sturdy, 2 were defective. 1 chair had a pilot hole that wasn't drilled all the way through, so the chair didn't fit together correctly. Another chair had a pilot hole drilled in the wrong spot, so again, it wouldn't fit together correctly. April 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by May be more assembly needed than you think I bought two sets of these dining chairs. 2 of the chairs were easy to put together, and required only about 20 minutes each chair. The other two were missing pilot holes for the front two legs to be attached to the actual seat, so I had to buy a drill and drill my own pilot holes. The store is quite far from where I live so cost less to drill my own holes than to exchange the chairs for different ones. Not sure how they'll hold but not sure how this made it passed the quality inspection department. For over $500 on 4 chairs I shouldn't have to drill my own pilot holes, the fact that I had to pay this much for dining chairs and still assemble them is enough. Not too happy with my purchase at this point August 21, 2013
