Rated 5 out of 5 by A great match for the Garner table I've been looking for a bench to complement our Garner extension table and this bench is the one! It has some nice ridges, which matches our distressed-looking table well. When the extension leaf attached, our table is the perfect length for the bench to slide right under. You wouldn't know that they weren't from the same family of furniture. Takes less than 10 min to assemble. Great quality! June 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great looking, sturdy bench Not much to say. Extremely easy to assemble! Looks and works great. Have it paired with the greyson dining table and matches very well (in my opinion). September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy and attractive I love this bench and the whole Francine dining set. Easy to assemble, looks great. July 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is sturdy and adds a beautiful touch to my dining room. I bought this bench 3 years ago. It is such a beautiful and well crafted piece. Three people can sit on it comfortably. I bought a bench previous to this one that cracked on the 2nd day of ownership which led me to this creation. I could not imagine not having a bench at my dining room table . It's also comfortable enough to hang out and talk with the family during holidays/ get togethers. The only recommendation that I would have for this bench is to get some sort of cushions(this extends conversation, lol). It's just more comfortable. Oh yeah, watch your toes, it's beautiful but it does not move easily. This is a piece of furniture that you will have for many years to come!! Wonderful investment!! March 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful piece of furniture This product is true to description in terms of color and size. This is a substantial piece of furniture and the depth is considerably larger than most benches. Strong and study made of beautiful acacia wood. February 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great bench The Francine bench is really quite lovely--solid and beautiful in color. It was also super easy to assemble--took about 10 minutes. The one complaint I have is that the boards are not level, so the top of the bench is uneven. It's not a huge deal--more of an issue for the table, as I anticipate my kids putting a glass down and have it tip because it's not level. And I guess it makes it look more natural, though I'd prefer that it be level! Still, I am quite happy with this purchase--it was an excellent value. September 8, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expected We had just bought a new house and filled it with World Market furniture. We bought the Garner Expansion Table, 2 Garner Chairs, and 2 Harper Chairs. We debated on what size and kind of bench to put at the dining room table, and after seeing the floor models in the store, we decided to go with the Francine Dining Bench. After putting the bench together and setting it next to our table, it just looked awful. The colors matched nicely, but the bench is very wide and is just as long as the table itself. The minute my husband and I both sat on it, you could feel it sag and it didnt feel sturdy. My husband is 200lb and Im 120lb, thats not a lot of weight considering you can fit 3 people sitting on the bench. I also think is made of cheaper material that the Garner Table & Chairs we purchased, so ultimately we returned it. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, I just expected this piece to be the same quality as the other items we had purchased. And maybe its good for kids who dont weigh alot and you dont risk the bench breaking over time. May 22, 2014
