Tired of looking at the junction box in my sister's home, I purchased this chalk board for her and it fits perfectly. She keeps it full of "to-dos" for her fiance, short and long term goals for their home. Very easy to write on and wipe clean, hangs nicely flat against the wall and easy to remove when access to the junction box is needed. Best part, it was on sale! December 27, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheyenne Best Chalkboard This is the third chalkboard I've purchased. I originally wanted one to put in my kitchen to jot down notes and things to add to the grocery list. Then, my daughter who's a great artist started getting into chalk art, and I wanted her to do menus. The first board we got had to be "seasoned" before your message could actually be seen on the board. The second board was like it had been covered with some kind of greasy substance and you couldn't even see the chalk message on the board. So, I thought maybe the boards I purchased were cheap. Then I purchased the Farmhouse Chalkboard. What a difference. It was a little pricey, but the quality was great. The writing is crisp and clean. This one will have my Thanksgiving menu.
