I recently renovated my kitchen and now have a farmhouse/apron front sink....with this great new sink I needed a dish rack. I had quite a time finding an expandable dish drain and finally found this one. It definitely works, but I would not say it is the sturdiest. It is a thiner steal and doesn't come with a silverware caddy. Most of my spoons/forks fall through the bottom of the rack. This rack does work great if you sit it on the counter top b/c I does have "feet" at the bottom, however I do not have a lot of counter space and I wanted an over the sink rack. The expandable arms do have a rubber coating, to protect the countertop when the rack is expanded, but it is not very grippy so on occasion I have bumped the rack and the arm has slipped off the front of the sink causing the rack to slip forward and the the back arm comes off the back of the countertop resulting in the entire rack falling in the sink. Like I said it does work in a pinch, but I did find a better rack with a silverware caddy thicker steal and grippy rubber at a local home store (BB & B). It works much better for what I need with my sink and counter top....I selected to recommend this product b/c it does work and there are not many expandable racks available that I could find.
I wanted small dish rack that you can use in sink for drying and this fits requirement . Good quality however on little expensive side. looks good and space saver.
