We bought this ottoman on line from Cost Plus World Market, but they get it from a third party vendor and do not stock it in the local store. It was delivered damaged by UPS, with the flimsy box ripped open at the corner and a half inch slit in the top of the material. The warranty said they would replace any damaged part within the first year, but they told me that did not apply because it came fully assembled. They refused to give us a RMA to send it back for a replacement, so we had to pay for a repair ourselves. I have bought furniture on line for many years, and this is the first company I ever encountered that would not honor their warranty and replace it when it arrived damaged. In all honesty, the manager of the local store could not get anywhere with this vendor (AVE.SIX), so he offered to give us a full cash reimbursement, but we wanted to keep the piece. However, I would never order a piece of furniture from this vendor again if it was not available in the local store. February 18, 2015
